In-home Care Specialists for 30 Years
Nuclear Weapons & Uranium Workers
Professional Case Management (PCM) is the nation’s premier home care provider for nuclear weapons and uranium workers. In 2002, PCM became the first enrolled provider in the U.S. to serve clients under the EEOICPA program, which has no deductibles, no co-pays and have no cap on benefits. PCM has the most experience and expertise in providing superior home care to workers who have contracted chronic illnesses related to their work. PCM also helps individuals navigate the complex EEOICPA and RECA qualification process. PCM Impairments offers evaluations nationwide, by phone with an EEOICPA-enrolled physician.
PCM TRIALS employs unique certified mobile research nurses, who bring clinical trial visits out of the research facility and to the subjects – wherever they may be. Whether trial participants are at home, work, or school, these Certified Mobile Research Nurses make sure that participants stay on track for successful completion of the trial. PCM TRIALS coordinates and manages with all stakeholders – sponsor, clinical research organization, laboratory, subject, pharmacy, and site – to maximize recruitment, convenience, compliance, retention, and source data quality. PCM TRIALS has national and international experience in a wide variety of therapeutic areas.
Catastrophic Care Services
PCM is a specialized provider of catastrophic home health care, with a specific focus on caring for clients with spinal cord and brain injuries as well as degenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries are complex, and can lead to a broad spectrum of other impairments, disabilities, and mental or emotional challenges. Such an injury can be devastating to an individual and his or her family. PCM can help families who find they have to cope with the unexpected effects of a sudden injury. PCM nurses receive hands-on training in hospitals or rehabilitation facilities, with specific focus on clients’ needs.
