Caregiver Appreciation Week, celebrated March 2–6, 2026 is a time to pause and appreciate the essential work our caregivers perform each and every day. Across PCM, caregivers support individuals and families during moments that require empathy, trust, and compassion.
Our theme this year, Every Act of Care Matters, highlights the idea that care is built through consistent, everyday actions. It shows up in routines, in quiet check-ins, and in simply being there when it matters most. These moments strengthen comfort, connection, and support—ultimately creating positive outcomes for the clients we serve.
Throughout the week, we are celebrating caregivers across the organization, including Relative Personal Care Attendants (RPCAs), Personal Care Attendants (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Relative Home Health Aides (RHHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Relative Companion Sitters, and Companion Sitters. Caregiver Appreciation Week is designed to create a shared, meaningful recognition experience across our community of caregivers while reinforcing PCM’s commitment to supporting the essential professionals who make this work possible.
Here are just a few examples of the incredible caregivers who support PCM clients every day, helping them stay safe and independent at home.

Home Health Aid/Certified Nurse Assistant
Tenure: 6 years
“Going above and beyond means giving more than 100 percent every single day. I try to anticipate what my clients need before they even have to ask because that shows them they are being cared for. Paying attention to the smallest details is how I make sure they feel safe, respected, and supported.”

Personal Care Attendant
Tenure: 2 years
“When I came across PCM, it felt like the opportunity I had been looking for. I was excited by the support, stability, and the way caregivers are valued. After talking with a PCM representative and learning more, I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be.”

Relative Personal Care Attendant
Tenure: 1 year
“When my mom became a patient, her nurse was the one who first mentioned PCM to me. I was there to help make sure we both understood what her care would look like, and something about that conversation really stayed with me. I honestly feel blessed that PCM came into my life when it did.”

Home Health Aide/Certified Nurse Assistant
Tenure: 3 years
“For me, great care starts with being proactive and making sure every detail is handled with care. I’m always looking for better ways or new ideas that help my clients feel their best and live more comfortably.”

Relative Personal Care Attendant

“PCM supports me with the same care, kindness, and understanding that I strive to give every day. Knowing I am supported allows me to focus on what matters most; truly caring for the people who depend on me.”
We encourage everyone to take a moment this week to thank a PCM caregiver in their life for the important work they do!
